Opinion

I discuss a lot of topics on here. The perspective is always mine, unless I have had to research the information and I will generally say where it's from, or if not, my sources reach my reliability threshold.

I want to make this clear: I use Wikipedia mainly for information like names and dates or to double-check my memory, not for trustworthy information. I may or may not reference it in my posts.

I do not represent nor am being paid by any entity.

You can agree or not with my opinions, we are both entitled to our own. You can accept them or not, too, but if you can try to understand my point of view, that will most likely be productive and constructive. Respect for each others' opinions is mandatory, regardless of the reasons we agree, disagree, accept or not accept them.

If you want to comment, please do it constructively and respectfully. This is expected. A dialogue, for want of a better word. I do not believe in opinions/arguments/criticism which have no meaning. I have my reasons for my opinions, which I may share, and so do you.

We all have our own upbringing, beliefs, cultures, religions, experience, education, relationships, biases, prejudices, which inform the way we see the world. It's what makes us individual and forms our identity and if we can discuss topics and be critical thinkers then it could lead to a better understanding of one another; and possibly even acceptance, equality, open-mindedness and so on and so forth.

Of course, if my opinion is actually racism, homophobia, sexism or harmful and damaging in any other way, please let me know.

- A.M.
